An original oil painting on paper. This piece is part of an ongoing series examining swimmers and how they become one with the water and environment they're in. In this, a figure dressed in maroon contemplates as they float in the green water.

This work is in an archival, matte white frame, with UV non-glare acrylic glazing that filters 99% of harmful UV rays. The work is set "floating" style so that the painting sits on top of a mat instead of being contained by one (example in carousel images above).

As with all art it is best not to handle the work directly - due to the nature of oil pastel and paper, this work is delicate. If needed, please handle with clean hands from the edges only as the oils of your hands can cause damage long term. Avoid hanging in direct sunlight to prevent color loss. To clean, simply dust the frame with a soft cloth.
